The Driver
John McCollum has been going to races since he was old enough to watch them. When he was 16 he started going in the pits at stockton 99 Speedway and helping out the drivers he knew. When his dad formed J&K Racing his dad named him the crew chief. Then in the 2003 season his dad decided to let him drive.

The Crew Chief
John McCollum had been involved in racing since he was 16. He first started racing in the Hobby Division in the number 40 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle at Stockton 99 Speedway. From 1993 to 1998 he was a Racing Official for Stockton 99 Speedway. After the 1998 season he started working on the number 44 Late Model Sportsman driven by John Graham. Then in July of the 2000 season he bought the number 83 Toyota Sedan and formed J&K Racing. Last year he finished 6th place in the point standings. His best finish was 2nd place in the main event on May 19th 2001. In the 2002 season he had one win and finished third in ppoints.
